Well, I was asked to volunteer as a photographer for the fish and wildlife service. This should be fun.

 

Haha cool man. No worries if you can't. Woulda been convenient is all. Ham antennas are so small Id trust those mounts for them.

So fridge might get shipped to bens house now. That will be nice. Got Frank an alignment scheduled for tomorrow. Only bummer is I might have to buy a new 2nd battery...

Throwing money out the window at this point haha

 

Been killer here too since Friday. I'm assuming from Id.

Getting dry here too though now. But the mountains are still getting rain. Got rained on today up there.

 

Well it sucks. Devin gets here Thursday and you can't see shit!

 

Stupid fires..

 

So speaking of fires...

Glacier has a fire too. BC is burning too and I haven't looked but could be an issue there.

Part of the sun road is closed due to fire in mt.

Everywhere is burning but here it seems...odd

 

No fires allowed for whipsaw either. Suck age...

 

Looks like no fires near whipsaw though so that's good

 

First real fire won't be until Alberta. Nice

 

I think I read that the Glacier NP folks are encouraging people not to change there plans tho.. Sounded to me like that fire was not such a big deal like the one near chelan.

Which reminds me, will you have room for your chainsaw? Incase we come across tree fall on the trail or even find a place where they will let us have a real campfire.

Hmmm..no idea really. Idk if it works either. I seem to recall my dad saying something about getting it fixed..I'll ask tomorrow.

Packing is gonna be tight for me so I can't promise anything but I'll try.

 

That was partially why I asked. Put it where the fridge will go until you get that. I should have room enough to carry it if need be once we meet up.

The Going to the Sun Road is amazing. Truly worth sitting through some construction delays. Perfect for photo ops.

 

I've been up there near little goose campground for about 5 days now and I love it

 

And for you guys talking about the rain in the mountains. I just took this on poverty flats looking towards black tooth. The wind is blowing about 25 too.

 

Nah, it is a volunteer based festival. The biologists there with masters are not getting paid so I wouldn't expect them to pay a photographer. I won't be doing it after seeing the dates as they conflict for me.

 

Yeah I thought that looked like little goose. The second picture I can definitely tell. Little goose is my stomping grounds have you ventured up in there much?

 

Going to use my dads fridge I hope. May be able to squeeze it in.

 

Shit..that's gonna be crazygot a new battery today too for free.
