The "girly" engine will be as powerful as old engine with just better MPG,

That was what someone else said regarding the "girly engine". I stated it to make a point that it was a retarded comment just like the crying about the drum brakes, which is what I took the post directly above mine to be as well, a joke. FWIW- this thread is pointless.

Most of the bitching is how ugly the front end is and the fact a lot is carried over from current gen, also the large price increase, some people (not me) dislike the interior, most however have no qualms about the new engine and transmission, should be an improvement.

I have this crazy game plan: If I don't like the specs/price and how the 2016 drives, I won't buy one.

Front end, and design changes will grow on you and make the 2nd gen look archaic in the near future...

We don't even know the prices yet!!

    Lol.

Can't get over the superiority complex the 3rd gen crowd has. Everything is inferior, especially the circle jerking.

When the 2016s actually are in hands, I can't even imagine either the great disappointment that will follow in this subforum, or the huge bro-fest all these DB new Tacoma owners will turn it into.

    Wrong.
If the 2nd gen is so archaic why are people still buying loads of them, no drag/decrease in sales? And if ugly vehicles grow on people how does that explain sales decreases of vehicles like the Aztec, etc. etc.

    and

    Wrong.
    Pricing was leaked here:

Right and the blatant lack of knowledge/support of argument, just no your wrong approach.

It's hard to look at the front end and think 'man that looks really, really cool'. It looks somewhat reminiscent of a french bulldog with the nastiest of under bites whose owner enters it into the worlds ugliest dog contests. From all other views, it looks alright.
