Hardrock Meet: Sat August 8, 2015

Is there any way to know if it's gonna be covered in mud on saturday before going? I mainly wanna go for the rocks and climbs

 

I assume just give hard rock a call Friday sometime and ask what the conditions are like. I am sure they will not change much. I wanna go for trails/climbs too.

Same times as in the Original post. I'll update the meeting location tonight or in the morning with the actual address. Not sure about dog friendly, I would just give em a call and ask. I honestly think they could care less if you brought a dog but idk.

Like I said above I was thinking the Pilot gas station right off the I-10 exit, it would be the easiest spot imo.

The love gas station in Ocala is still on and that is where we will meet and guys down there if they are going.

Update!!!!!: We are now planning to meet at the Pilot gas station and take the Starke Route on US 301

1.) off the Starke exit US 301 (40 mins West of Jax):
Meet there around 7:30-7:45ish am and we head out @ 8AM

2.) We will meet others who want to join from west/central/south FL at the Love gas station around 9:30AM (they have a subway there) and head over to Hardrock @ 10AM

Sounds good. I'll call Friday and get the condition on the park and ask if it's dog friendly.

 

Nice yeah that would be great, I don't wanna even bother honestly if it is all muddy and washed out. I want to actually hit trails.
I am just hoping there are some that don't have too much water but we shall see.

Nice! What's going on in ole Jax? I am off Friday actually so in the morning I'll be getting some errands done and getting a few things ready on my truck that afternoon. I am on the east side of jax near the beach so I'll head to the meeting spot from my house about 7am Sat morning to get there at 7:30-7:45


on another note I'll bring a case of water like ususal on ice for those that want a drink. Oh and I have plenty of room in my cooler if anyone wants to throw a in it or something.
