Finally picked her up this afternoon. Sounds and feels great! However, I took it easy on the way home. Is there a break in time with these s/c or can I just go ahead and punch it at every light?

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
    Nice!

FWIW, I laid stripes down leaving the dealership lot after having mine installed. LOL I don't think you have anything to worry about just stomp on whenever you want now.

Keep an eye on the SC coolant reservoir lines on that auxiliary tank...some people(Inc myself) have had those sweat/leak after a few days. Easy fix, but keep an eye on it these next couple days.

Finally was able to pull the trigger on one after a week and 60 phone calls to dealers all over the country. Paid $5,097 shipped. They had 4 chargers and fit kits come in unexpectedly this morning. They have two left if anyone is still in the market. Tustin Toyota in California. 714-617-3657. Ask for Tony in parts.

Ya it wasn't the $4,290 I had planned on paying but beggers can't be choosers this late in the game. Still feeling lucky I got one and didn't have to pay the $8,500-$15,000 price!

Has anyone added the afe stage 2 intake and throttle body spacer with the charger or is it even noticeable compared to staying with the factory set up?

Ok, i added the AFE intake... but why you'd add a throttle body spacer is beyond me...

Afe stage 2 si will makes the whine louder and IMHO wakes things up a bit...

Man, don't ever ever ever ever get throttle body spacer for ur truck unless u want a whistle..... And nothing more.

Besides, not sure if the tbs will be able to squeeze in, iirc the blower lengthens things a tad?

    Either way fuck the TBS.

think over that maf calibrator VERY well.

I had it while n/a and it was tuned perfect for me at 600 above sea.....................................hitting the grades up to santa barbara in 100 degree heat caused the bitch to ping, and I ALWAYS RAN premium fuel.

I couldnt switch it "off" to regain some more fuel, I couldnt adjust it on the fly, its not smart enouh to adjust on the fly.............I had to baby the truck.

    truck NEVER pinged before.

Yea I seen the pic posted above and that got me thinking about it. Might as well add $397 more to todays bill while I'm at it. Sounds like I'll forget the tbs. What are your thoughts on adding the urd smaller pulley to it? Will the dealer even put it on for me during the charger install or doese it mess with the programming for the toyota re flash specs. Sorry for all the simple minded questions. I'm a lot better at solid axle swaps and lift kits than engine work.
