Kind of a random question. You guys with second gens, what does your thermometer usually read driving around during these summer months? Mine gets over 120F every single day until I get on the freeway or am cruising at speed, then it will drop down into the 110's.

I think I paid right around 900-1000 for my OME setup brand new. Included Icon 3 leaf pack, OME's F/R, 885x's, top plates, and trim packer.

Thats not a terrible deal considering you get the Burgs.. though they are BJ's. The coils are 886's though, so they will be a bit stiff with a stock front end (no bumpers or added weight)

I'd start an offer at 1k.

I think the OME is a great lift for the costs. I would personally add spindle gussets while you are upgrading though.

Yeah I know I can get the ome for about 1000 bucks I just didn't know how much all the rest of that would cost.
Where did you get your setup from? Ome is what I want to go with. Has really good reviews and everyone on here seems to like the setup.

Why would you add those? My truck is just 2wd so I'm really just looking for a comfortable ride for work that I can also carry a load as well with the occasional camping and light off roading

I'm still on the boat of not needing spindle gussets. I'd rather have my spindle fail than my LCA, but that's just me. The spindle vs LCA failure rate I think shows this. I'm not saying DONT do it.. but you dont HAVE to either.

I got my OME setup from SIERRA EXPEDITIONS! they hooked me up big time. If I get a new truck.. I'll do OME again. best bang for the buck IMO.. and performs very well.
