Has some really nice wrap around almost like a parabolic umbrella.

 

I knew you had graduated I was just wondering if you were just doing some classes on the side. I'm about to sign up for a studio class here. It's been a pretty good while since I've been in a studio and I'd like to get back into it.

It's a unique church that many people pass by and never know it's there. I happened to turn down the road it's on one day looking for something to take pics of and found it. It's only about 50 yards off a major highway.

 

I tried some more fireworks from a local minor league baseball team, there was a little shake in it. I bought a remote and want to try it again, and not be quite so close.

Was the shake from the mirror not being locked up or being too close to fireworks where the tripod vibrated from the concussion? Unstable surface the tripod was on?

I think it's a great pic. I like the fireworks filling the frame.

 

Thank you, it was on a tripod on my tailgate and since I did not have a remote yet there is a little shake from me pressing the button. Maybe a bit from the fireworks we were only a 150-200 yards from where they were setting them off.

 

I read your post wrong, Duh. You said you bought a remote afterwards. That was why I didn't say something about your finger causing it. You can set the self timer to 2 seconds if your out somewhere without a remote sometime also. I've had to do that a few times lately because of a dead battery in my remote.

 

I've used the timer but I was trying to time these for when they went off so the timer wasn't working so well for that.

 

Yeah I can see where it would suck with fireworks.

I'm of the sunflower pics on your Flickr. We don't see anything like that down here.

You did great with the fireworks! If you don't have a remote, try using the self timer.

 

Went backpacking with the lady this weekend. Always sucks adding the weight of the camera, but worth it. Comments and critique always welcome.
