A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
Okay so set this straight for me.

Who is picking this up from Mr Ed in Dallas and who's bring it to Houston. Then who am I meeting to pick it up from. Finally what kind of beer does everyone like? Got to make sure I get enough or just pay for the tab.

From my understanding Richard will be picking it up in Dallas and while he is visiting here in San Antonio I will be picking it up from him and from there I will be making a trip to Houston and delivering it to you wherever be necessary

Anybody know anyone who'd wanna trade trucks? My Tacoma (should have 100k miles by then) for a 2004ish tundra double cab?

Lol no. I'm still trying to find stock body panels to put back on. So it'd be a normal Tacoma. Not a cut up one. seems like the values of the older tundys are around $8k-$11k and the taco should be worth something around that area once fixed up.

Idk. Gas mileage? Idk man. I got my buddy who works at a body shop pricing bedsides and fenders for me. Then I could sell my suspension to pay for color match. Buy stock suspension for $100. Then boom. It'd be like a little all stock taco again.
I just have been doing a lot of thinking. I need a truck for work. That's a fact. And I need a truck that can handle hauling in case I ever need to get a camper or whatnot. I need 4 doors cause the single cab life isnt fun anymore. But..

Im kinda tired of debt. And I want to move out and rent a house. So while a new tundra would be nice, I'd rather trade+cash or just sell my truck and pay cash for an older tundra so I don't have debt over it. Which would allow more money for rent house. Then buy an older Toyota for a trail truck once finances allow.

Seems like a smart move financially (unless someone can point me in a better direction).

Well instead of dumping money into "fixing" your truck and throwing cash on top of a trade you could use that for some performance upgrades until your ready for the tundra of your dreams.

Iirc one of these smart gentleman said to not prepare for the job that you might have and work with what you have now.

Then what? It will be paid off in a couple months. But its not practical for my life or work anymore. I have to carry a jobox from worksite to worksite for work.
So I need a truck bed. Occasionally I may have to work out of state and I wouldn't mind picking up an older Toyota so I'm gonna want something that can haul if needed.
And I need a backseat. Ive had a single cab since I was 15. Time for more room and doors

My current taco isn't capable of what I need or want. My original plan was to keep it for a toy and pick up a new daily(new tundra). But being practical and responsible is why I'm thinking about trying to trade it or sell it for an older tundra I could pay cash for.
