How do you guys wire up your light bars mounted on the racks? Just run the wire down A-pillar along the edge of the windshield? How do you secure the wire and keep it from getting loose and flapping around?

I ran my wiring down along the windshield molding. Seemed like it just snap right between the frame and molding. I used a 1/4 " thick piece of plexiglass like a putty knife and pushed it into the groove, be careful not to cut the wire insulation. Worked perfectly. I have been at speeds of 75 mph for 4 months and has never popped out.

Awesome! Thanks. This is what I am going to do. I was kinda thinking of drilling through the roof somewhere under the weather stripping, but if it will stay put running down along the windshield, I will do that one before I do for the major surgery.

Saving up for my next mod has begun.

I'm going to put a Toprac on a softopper.

What's that you say? It can't be done???

Oh yes it can. After I put the softopper on, Billy from BruteForce Fab and I are going to collaborate on a skeleton that sits inside of it with mounting points for a Toprac. We will cut holes in the top and seal them with rubber grommets and silicone.

    It will be incredible!

I've thought of that but I worry about it not completely sealing. Like if I got a canopy made for it, there would be no rear window or it would not be sealed.

Thanks for criticism though. I've been thinking it would be cool but I'd rather people point out issues before I do it! haha

If you going that far it will probably make more sense to build a slick frame around the soft topper

I'm not a fan of the looks of the bed cages. That is why I was thinking of hiding it with a softopper.

I'm replacing them with KB Voodoo Soon! Thanks for the tip. I don't like having any weight on the bedsides. That is why I was going to design a skeleton instead!

    Yes.
How tall over the roof line do these stand? As it is, the factory stereo antenna on my truck JUST touches a few low hanging points in the parking garage at the office. :)

That is true. A lot of it was also the look. I'm definitely going to get a softopper so I'll be able to examine it more in the future before deciding on any kind of reinforcement.
