I have work. I goto work September 1st again. The other talk was about a welding rig for a side job between outages. But this talk. Is because I do need a truck for my real income /job.

 

So you can't haul anything in your long bed with beefed up suspension? Second gen problems?

 

It can and has hauled my jobox. But even on small tires, it doesn't enjoy it. Its a dog. And I put in a lot of highway miles (roughly 30k/yr).

 

I always wanted to know how much longer the RCLB is than the RCSB

 

I had already paid off two cars by 22 so I guess I dun goofed.

Makes sense. Whatever you buy, make sure it'll last the distance without breaking the bank. Car-broke is no way to live.

 

Diesel and stay far far away from the modding bullshit.

 

I'm actually not interested in owning a diesel right now. A v8 tundra would do fine and while it MAY not last as long, overall maintenance would be cheaper.

What's the difference between long bed and normal bed length on a regular cab?

 

All the long beds are the same. 6'. Short beds are 5'

1. Your rushing into it.
2. You'd be a lot happier with an 08+ tundra. More room in the interior what whatever happens next and bigger bed which means more space to haul more shit and if you do find one you like with the 5.7 that just means more power to haul all of your shit.
