True but you gotta also look at the long run vs the short run. Will the 4.7 be enough to haul all of your shit? Will it be strong enough to haul it all plus the toys? Is there adequate room for future little "welder tacos" to fit comfortably in? You could do what Jack said and get a diesel but those are expensive as shit even used.

 

Nevermind. Your normal size bed which is the only bed option for an RC (or an AC) is a "long bed"... Got it. Just makes more sense when you actually have a short bed option for your model like the DCs.

Well I don't plan on little welders for at least 4-5 more years. So yeaaaa let's not bring that into the decision yet lol! But yea it should be able to. A guy I work with bought his first gen tundy with 120,000 miles on it and now has 245,000. That's with hauling a camper and stuff too. I think its the right decision
