IDK but it's pictures like that, that may me worry if going to a midsized is the right move.
    That's a long bed too.

    Bad advert. photo.

I have a longbed and barely squeeze my dirtbike in there with the tailgate up. The bed is shallow as well. My chief complaint is the bed with these trucks. Love the width and overall size but bed dimensions are crappy enough to consider a full size.

It says the beige (QuickSand) is MY16 TRD Pro only?

Supposedly this year has a deeper bed than last year.

What's bad about it? I see full size trucks with bikes hanging out over the tailgate all the time. They do this so they aren't just sitting in the bed on top of each other. Toyota surely isn't going to make an 8 ft bed Tacoma.

Interesting. It says " 16MY TRD-Pro Off Road Pkg Only -Special Color ". Wonder if the TRD-PRO will be a package added to certain Tacoma's? Kind of how the Baja package was? Would make sense to make it a package added to the OR models. Also it would be nice to have it added to a variety of colors too. Maybe there will be more info on that August 17th? So does " MY " mean mid-year? Meaning the TRD Pro will come out then?

Really want to see a '16 with a color-matched topper on it.

Same depth. The front of the bed now sits level with the sides making it look deeper at the rear window.

I highly doubt that. Its the same bed inside. They just raised the height to the window.

I thought the windows were exactly the same from the gen 2.

Correct they are, the bed just sits flush with the bottom of the rear window now instead of lower on the 2nd gen.

I am glad they didn't change the size of the 2016. If they did, we'd have even more whining on this site. Don't understand why people complain about the Tacoma being too small when there are full size options.

Can't imagine that's possible with this group.

You must not of read my earlier post, I love the size, the engine, all that jazz, would just like a deeper bed.

MTB riders do this all the time on full size pickups too, especially downhillers and enduro riders that are shuttling to the top of runs. Other times it is just an easy way to fit a ton of bikes in a truck w/o screwing around removing wheels etc. There is plenty of room in that bed for that bike. A SB on the other hand will not fit that bike with the front wheel on and barely with it removed and in a fork mount rack.

You're saying a Canondale won't fit laying flat in the bed of a '16 DCSB?
