It sits a tad nose high with my current set up but it's not very noticeable. I just know bc I have measured. If you did 2" in the front and back, you would still have the stock rake (tail slightly higher). If you want level, you need to do your front end around a 1/2 inch or so higher than the rear.

For your second question. Sure, but you said you aren't going off road. You won't have any issues on the road with speed bumps ect. if you do spacers. Don't buy into the doomsday stories...

I do go off the road....through a yard, back into the woods to hunt, etc. Nothing like the guys here doing, one wheel off the ground, let me see if I can climb this Indiana Jones sized ant hill type stuff.

Make sure it is for a pair and not a single shock. Looks like it could be a single shock IMHO

It is for a single shock.

I mathed wrong. These two, plus two rears puts me at $400. Toytec and Wheelers have all 4 for ~$360ish. Shit. Thought I had something there.

She maybe yet. I told her about that last night, she giggled.

I would hate it but be ok with something like that Daystar product above.

I am all about quality stuff, especially with my vehicles.

All the audio I have now is JL Audio everything, speakers amp, quality 12g wiring, 16 band eq deck, etc.

So it hurts me to take the cheap route on the lift like that, but fuck, $600 bones for a lift on a truck that will go into the woods 5-10 times a year and haul a powerwheels car every now and again? I dunno.

Well, like I said, AAL rode rougher than the Dakars do now and sagged after hauling my boat once..ditched them after 3k. The problem is that AAL are like trying to fix a bullet hole with a bandaid. I advise against it but it's your truck.

    More questions.

If I went with a 1.5" AAL (sorry, @geekhouse23 ), I know it is recommended to get new shocks, but is it required?

Take into account that the only time my suspension would be flexed anywhere even close to it's limits would be when I climb up one of those nasty 6" curbs; you know how wicked they are.

I've got an AAL with stock shocks. No issues. Some people say it is 'stiffer' but I haven't noticed anything like that. I'm sure if I tried to do things like off-road wheeling I would understand what they are talking about but for the driving I do (99.999999999999% paved road) it is A. O. K. as is.
