    Yeah but he's potato.

I heard he was at the track and had problems passing an altima.

I've run 350z, 370z, their Infiniti twins, a mustang bullit, and they were a joke down the quarter...... I was a hair slower thru the traps against a modded STI....... He was surprised.

Last time Tor, me, and @STiLL WILL spoke we agreed 350 crank should be about where Matt and I are at.... Same mods, same alti.

I figured 236 stock, 60 charger, and whatever the intake gives id be over 3 under the hood. My 01 with a charger and 7th injector kit was close to that I was told but never had the dino on it.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
I've been pretty impressed with the kinds of vehicles that I walked on/ran from, and even ones that couldn't shake me from a roll........while being a 4x4 on 33's.

I will say this, anyone who's running a 6sp manual and planning the 2.85 pulley should probably have an upgraded clutch on their list much sooner than later. I don't even come close to beating on mine(it isn't even my daily driver for that matter), but it began to slip in 6th with medium throttle freeway passing a month after the pulley upgrade.

Since then, I've upgraded to the URD Stage 2 and never looked back---and engagement is at a lot better position than the retarded high bite of the stock one.

    What is the DD?

Mine is my DD and it does get driven in a lot of stop n go in some stupid TX summer temps. I've had no issues. I have the AFE Dry too, but it's a recent add. Running down the highway I see 5-6 degrees off of my truck's ambient temp through Ultragauge reporting. Stock intake was 10+. We're 100+ everyday now.

Anybody done a compare of AFE, JBA, and Thorley shorty headers? I want headers next. Can't dump the cats for LT headers - emission nazis.

Anybody have updates on fuel economy? At 70 mph on mostly flat interstate mine went from 18.5 to 19.5 after S/C install.

Correction: my camera looks back, I just look left to right. :D

2004 Forester turbo(XT) LOL. I keep it bone stock and clean. :) My obsession with forced induction is deep rooted, but it bites me in the ass when summer gas prices strike. Eeeesh! ...but it's one of the best vehicles I've ever bought, period.

Wish I had something of use to report, but I stopped caring after the lift and 33" tires LOL. Anything over 17 for the 4.0 is doing just fine, SC or stock.

    Miss ya Tor!

Thanks again @KILLSHOT for the lead. I screenshotted this last night and sent it to my friend. He's had no luck and pretty much gave up calling around. He called Tustin Toyota at 7:01am this morning and grabbed 1 of the remaining SC and fit kits.

Just an FYI thing for anyone here who does go offroad a lot with the S/C and aftermarket air box. Remember to check that the rubber seals are tight enough on the plastic air box. I almost went full submarine this weekend and luckily when I was doing my run through before doing to trail I noticed the seal moving quite a bit when I applied throttle to the engine. If I hadn't of noticed, I probably would of sloshed some water onto my dry filter and that would not be good!

No prob stillwill. It actually was even better at $4,720 cause they originally charged me sales tax but being from out of state they refunded it.

I thought I read on another thread the snorkels and superchargers don't play well together. Another member was getting pretty low boost levels (3psi-ish) and the culprit was the snorkel, it just couldn't flow enough air to feed the blower. Of course that is better than a hydro-locked engine.

It might be. This was one of those stealth puddles though. Everything else up to that point that was even longer and had the same approach we tested and every time it was about a foot deep. I decided to wade out to test the next one and next thing I knew I was checking the door seals for leaks lol.

Luckily I have my Volant setup to only pull from the scoop, which is a bit higher than a stock intake. No problems were had though, again, I count myself very lucky.
They play well as long as you use a large enough tube to supply the air. A lot of those sort of problems are from to small an inlet or other air restrictions that can be played with. They offer a few sizes of inlets from ARB and some other companies and, in general, you should go with the largest one if boosted.

I'm still undecided, but if ARB brings out a snorkel for the 2nd gens as promised I'll go that direction.
