Saturday Morning
Ok San Diego Crew this is the route that I will be taking. I would like us to meet at the Wal-Mart Parking lot off of Aero Dr. and the 15. Its only like 1 mile north of the 8 and it is easy to find. I want to meet there at 0530 and be on the road by 0600

The caravan/convoy meet up is for people leaving Saturday morning. There is cellphone service once you get past the narrows.

If you are coming Sat morning, then the meet up place IN Ocotillo will be the Ranger Station at 7:00 AM. We will be LEAVING the Ranger Station at 8:00 AM.

MiikeyD we will be on the trail by then. Not sure were at on the trail, but we will have already started if you plan on getting there at 9.

 

not going now i blew out my entire passenger side front end because my lower arm bolt for the uni ball snapped in half and well u can figure out the rest going sixty on a fire road

so if i want to roll with you guys that means i gotta leave at 3:30-4:00 am then huh... i think most of the IE guys are leaving friday night im assuming? if thats the case.. im asking A LOT of questions because its my first time down there.

Im not sure who from the IE our LA County is leaving Friday. I think dysfunctnlretard is leaving Friday. Not sure what time. Since your in the the IE you could probably leave 4:30-4:45 the latest, and still make it.

 

Im too lazy to read the whole thread...But will this be a one day thing or a weekend campout kind of thing?

 

Day thing, but if you want to stay and camp you can.

Yup Ill be leaving Friday. Hopefully by 2pm so we can get there by 5 and have a couple of hours to set up in the light.

 

I'm really considering camping out there the weekend but my USMC Ball's on Monday the 9th and I don't have anything ready.

 

Start getting ish ready this week so that you can leave Ocotillo early sunday and still have enough time to comfortably attend the Ball. No excuses. Someone sign this guy up. lol

 

Im sitting here thinking about how this started as a "me and a buddy are doing a trail run if anyone wants to join" thread. And now its a huge SoCal meet. Thats so awesome. Cant wait to check out all your rigs.

 

Manny I need to get back out and get dirty dude. I can't remember when it was I took my truck out. Plus this might the last time I'll have the truck before it'll be sold

 

Funny thing about that is Randy and I have yet to meet. I think it's safe to say that both of us didn't expect this kind of a turnout. It's actually pretty cool how it went from something so small to what it is now.
