Nah, I haven't left yet...October time frame. And yea, that was flying the day I posted. We used to not be able to fly instruments (in the clouds) bc of the equipment on board thats required to but now we can so we are learning how since we avoided that shit like the plague in earlier models of the aircraft.

Yeah, I heard about that today. I was out all day yesterday clearing trees and had no idea, just thought it was a good picture. Sounds like that guy was suicide by cop anyways, and was the only person that got hurt. I hope the mentally disturbed don't start rioting because the guy got shot by police and only had an airsoft gun.

Yeah, and ended up with a bruised and scraped shoulder from it. It was an all around weird situation it seems. Guy walks in wearing a surgical mask, buys a ticket, goes into a theater with a few people in it, and starts spraying pepper spray and shooting an airsoft gun, bumps a guy in the arm with the hatchet, and runs out the back door. Metro's response time was way faster than it should have been, so it's possible the guy just wanted to scare some people and run. I still say it's likely suicide by cop though because of his choice of "weapons" and his action towards the officers. Either way, it could have gone a lot better, and a lot worse.

Man, that's gotta be an eerie feeling at first. My grandfather was instrument rated on his personal plane. My dad was a door gunner on a Huey in 68 and 69, so he has some pretty interesting stories too.

Yeah that's pretty creepy. I'd probably be good at it though. I like to practice in my truck all the time. I start by lighting up a fatty, rolling as much coal in the cab as possible then simply blindly driving around town. Last week I only hit 3 things on a 20 min drive. Or was it 20 things on a 3 min drive ........ Man ....... I'm starving!!

Nice!! We already have between 6-10 trucks that always show up at the meets. I swear in the last 2 months that many people have said something similar to "I'm moving to TN in August. Do y'all have any meets or offroading locally?"

The answer is always yes. But you have to actually come to them. I can only lead you to the promise land but I cant make you fornicate with the animals. Or something like that ....

I swear. I'm going to fucking strangle my sister in law. She has a nasty habit of taking DVD's out of the player and putting them on top of another dvd case and not putting it back in the case it came out of. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. Especially when it's one of mine (which i found one like that). She knows too, but she's too GOD DAMN lazy to put THE FUCKIN DVD BACK INTO THE GOD DAMN CASE. FUCK!!!!
