I do need a more stable mount for it though the bracket is too big but it doesn't want to stay wedged there. Keeps tilting.

you can ground it to a bolt, frame, etc no problem....

it's emphasizing that some (rare) setups have positive grounds, where the poles on the battery are reversed.

nice mounting position. that's right where I have mine, only it's an auto trans. if you're worried about it moving, toss some double side foam tape, or some Velcro on the top or bottom.

industrial Velcro might as well be magic. if zip ties didn't exist, my truck would be held together by Velcro instead....

I've yet to run my Cobra 19 Ultra 3 but I'm thinking about putting it in the groove in the center console. That cord doesn't bother you when shifting?

Took the family camping in Greenbrier State Park with the new truck.

Also, picked this up last week for $160. Great as a utility but not feeling the look if anyone is interested. [edit]...the cover that is...

Any color really, the Map light bulbs are a standard size so they are available in every color of the rainbow, and also UV, and IIRC i saw some IR bulbs floating around as well

No, my maps/dome are always white. The first picture is of my flyzeye light kit. I can switch them between white or amber. You can order them in any color combo really.
