Clinicals all day till 5.. then homework.

Looks like a short day at work tomorrow so I might get to do a little something.

Really need to get the TIG bottle filled. After you TIG awhile, it's hard to do anything else.

Got one side tacked up today.. Only had about an hour to work.. Gotta get some hardware and stuff and pull the leaf pack to clean it and paint. Also cut the old front hanger off. Axle got moved back forward about 1/4".

Maybe I'll have time after work tomorrow. Gotta work Saturday morning unfortunately.

Got the Chevy 63's on today & officially graduated as an EMT Basic. Just gotta take registry.

    Here's some pics:

I was trying to keep the front from flexing as much and let the rear do all the work. Need a taller jack cause I could barely get it to come off.

I had 10" of travel in the rear w/o a bed and with small amounts of unsprung weight. Hopefully once I get some more unsprung weight on the axle it'll stretch out closer to 11"

I know.. The shop is a MESS!!

Still gotta cut some old brackets off, etc.

    Congrats on the proposal!

How did you go about doing your shackles for the 63s? Got any pics?

    Thanks man..

What do you mean about the shackles?

The springs are slightly wider than normal so it can make the shackles look like "/ \" so I just added a washer to the frame side so they stay like "| |"

Also the Chevy 63s dropped my rear about 1" to 1.5" which is perfect. I wanna keep this truck REALLY low and put it on 37s..

I'm willing to tub and cut whatever. I want it to be low COG with as big of tires as I can make fit..

I know the feeling, it was upper 90's plus humidity all week here. Finally cooled off today so I can actually do something outside

Got my rear brake lines all hooked up:

New upgraded master cylinder installed.. The booster pushrod to master cylinder clearance was right on the money at 0.025".

I also took some washers and fixed my shackles.. They were like /\ because the springs are wider than stock. So I spaced of the frame side mount to make them like ||

    A little at a time I guess..

Why only 2 leaves? I would highly suggest an anti wrap bar or new longer spring perches to combat axle wrap. And pitbulls are the shit. I wheeled with a guy in TN this past weekend who had them in 42's.

Honestly didn't know they were 2 leaf till I got there to get em.. I want it to stay really low anyways so I'm fine with it. They flex great..

I had planned on a anti-wrap bar anyways. It's probably next..

Idk if I'll be getting pitbulls right now, but if I have the money when the time rolls around to get new tires I'll be picking up a set..

Looking for a set of used 35-39" anything TSL/Irok/Rockers.. Having to recoupe from the ring and tuition first so it'll be a couple weeks.. lots of Iroks on Hardline right now.

They have served me well so far. They don't really hook up that great until you get into single digit pressures. I run 7 up front and 6 out back but I'm going to have to run more in the font till I get beadlocks since I lost a tire in TN last weekend. There's a set of 39.5" iroks on 15" allied beadlocks on NC4x4 for $1500 right now
