Nice! Did you run it with your longbed? I don't see much armor in those pics... Any trail damage?

Nothin wrong with a trail limo. I see you're in Alameda. Me too!

I only did a little bit of it on the north end of Hwy 4, but came back after a bit and turned off at the south entrance and camped at Utica at the top of slick rock. Thats where it was a little iffy...that corner right before the top has become pretty tricky. Mainly it was just a camping/hiking trip but they wife n I wanted to get some wheeling in. Mainly just hiked the trail and watched with a couple of brews. No damage to the truck though.

Yeah, I've been in Alameda for about 3 months. Just moved here. Originally from San Diego, but the military brought me up here.

How are the easy trails @ hollister?
I plan on bringing out my tundra. Any recommendations for stock vehicles?

My first time at Hollister I was heading down one of the easier trails and ran into a bunch of Toyotas coming the other way. I backed up off the side of the trail to let them pass. The lead truck stopped to chat. He mentioned they couldn't do a lot of the harder trails because one of their group had a full size pick up. I asked what kinda truck. He replied Raptor. I had to laugh at that.

@EastBayTaco we are heading up at the end of the month.
@otis24 soooo you are saying i should bring my taco? just did timing belt water pump and all that good stuff. only thing its stock with no lift. I read some reviews about the easy/moderate trails and they said there was room for passing. Me assuming the full size tundra should be ok? And the Taco is 5spd. So I dont mind the challenge.

You know...I think you'd be okay in either. The Tundra might be a squeeze on the narrower trails. Is it an older Tundra or a newer one? The older ones are a bit smaller but the newer ones have a crazy turning radius. Either way it'll be fun. Maybe this time bring one truck and the next time bring the other one? It might be fun to try the same trails with both and be able to compare.

@otis24 its a newer 2015 tundra pro. I wanted to bring it for the extra ground clearance. I might just do that. Might just go along w/ @EastBayTaco on the 23rd just to test the waters and go with experienced folks.

That's a sweet truck! I cook for a living and took a year off and moved to Arkansas and sold Toyotas (it's a long story) Anyway...I was always super impressed with the new Tundras.

It is a sweet truck! Just really wanna see what it can do. Tows pretty damn good! lol. I think it would be more fun to take out to the dunes. and maybe just keep the taco for the nasty stuff. been looking at lifts anything you might recommend for mud/trails.
Been researching the Ultimate lift from toytec. Really digging those.

I'm looking for more of a day trip. Sounds like a fun event might be a bit to far for a day trip.
