    thinking about doin the bhlm this weekend if I have time. I did it on my 2007 in a flat black. So the question is: gloss or flat again?

    Same... i got quoted by a light "maker" over 200 dollars just to paint them... FML

    Like that one. Might have to go with the satin. Anybody that's thinking about doing it, don't hesitate because you're nervous or worried about tearing something up. When I did it on my '07, the hardest part was getting the lights out. Just take your time!

    Thinking about plastdipping the badges. Can I use pastidip on the lights or will it cause clearance issues when reassembling? Kinda want the option to go back to stock if I don't like it. Then again, I'm diggin the storm trooper look.

    Took me and a buddy the better part of a day. The toughest part is removing the housings. I would say about 6 or 7 hours but a lot of that was waiting for paint to dry. I did 3 coats on the bezels
