    Has anyone on here upgraded the stock V6 Tacoma throttle body to the tundra 76mm throttle body using the URD adapter? Im interested to know what kind of gains you experienced if any at all. If I do this I plan on getting the URD MAF calibrator so I can actually see real gains.

    doubt any gains will be seen on a NA'd motor... hell even with the stock TRD super charger you would have to go a couple notches smaller of a wheel n fuel system upgrades to need a bigger TB.

    I just dont see what difference it would make considering your not changing the size of any of the intake tubing or intake manifold. So really (i would think) its only going to allow what the manifold is going to let pass through.

    The oem intake upper plenum has a larger I.D. than the single VVT-I 1GR's TB. Going to the 70mm TB, with adapter, port matches it.

    The 76mm is clearly larger and has to be reduced down. However, the outlet of that TB's adapter is also port matched to the upper plenum's inlet.

    Also, the TRD XRunner used the larger 76mm TB.
