    Hell of deal lol.
I would check it out if it wasn't a 5 hr drive. Otherwise I have no reason to know except for heartbreak and disappointment lol.

Anyone seen a good deal on OEM bed mats? It's about time to stop all the sliding around in the back. Figure I'll just buy them new if I can't find any on CL.

And last call on the NFABs in my shed. Going, going ......

If you have an hour of time and a decent box cutter, you could pick up a rubber mat from Tractor Supply and cut it to form yourself. Either measure and cut based upon your bed's measurements, or lay a buddy's Toyota bed mat on top of the Tractor Supply mat and cut the outline.

At one time, those were a good deal. Now a DeeZee goes for $90 and you have to cut it. Compare that to an OEM Toyo mat for $105 on Amazon.

What the crap happened!? Hang on, let me check with a buddy who just did this exact thing last month. I know he wouldn't have paid more than $50 for a rubber mat that he had to cut for himself. I'll report back shortly.

Alright, the sneaky deal these days is to buy the generic rubber matting intended for livestock (Tractor Supply is one of many places that sells it). It's sold by the foot, and $40 will get you a rectangle large enough to cover the bed. Then you cut to fit.

I had been looking for awhile and found one in Orlando last month. Scooped it up from the old guy for $50 on a work meeting! :D

Good idea! I'll make that my plan B if I can't find an OEM unit. I was shocked at the prices myself; everything truck related has gone through the roof.
In 2002 I purchased a fold-a-cover for $450, and now they want $800. That's for a truck with a shorter bed than the one I got in '02. The G4 is nice, but not that big an upgrade.

I got no boat and the Taco won't float. A trailer hitch is next on my list.

I spoke to the guy, he said he got it from a "family owned company in fort myers. Custom/hand made, 2 person tent."
Im intrigued for the price to go look at it but he said he has someone coming to look at it tomorrow. I'm second in line.

I found another Tepui with annex for $1200. Not sure if I should go name brand, or take a risk

Hmmm well I wonder how good that hand made one is.
If when I get a RTT it will be a TJM.
I have slept in one and they are great and great price.

What's the appeal of a roof mounted one compared to a regular one that sits on the ground?

I wondered the same thing until I slept in one.
They are just amazing. One they sit up high and off the rocks/sticks which is also great when it rains. They have built in memory foam mattresses and basically all you do is open it up like a book and your tent unfolds and it set up/done. Takes 20 secs. The tents have an aluminum floor pretty much like a camper and have poles that are the skeleton to which all the high quality thick fabric is attached. To me it feels more like sleeping in a small camper than a tent because it is so solid.
