Can't wait. Build date of 9/2 just put my deposit down. :). Dealer system said 278 HP. True?

Congrats! I am jealous. I think 265 seems to be the most consistent power figure we have so far. Just sucks they couldn't get 1 more torque to equal last year's model! Be sure to post pics when you take delivery.

It they sold it to you at 278 and it'snot that's false advertisement. So my best guess is 278 is correct.

    Congrats on the truck.

This was at Stevinson's Toyota, near Denver Colorado. They don't have pricing yet. $1000 down (refundable) reserves your specific vehicle that is in allocation to them. This was the only Magnetic Gray they had in the pipeline. They don't have pricing yet so I get to take in the shorts later, but I can always back out. Which I won't. :)

Nice! How exciting. Probably the exact same vehicle I will be getting except mine will be a standard. Was there an option to have the fender flares color keyed? Keep us updated!

I don't mind. I would rather sacrifice 1 ft-lbs of torque and gain in mpg

Nice. That's pretty much the exact color and configuration that I'd like (less the steps). I'm still kicking around the tan colored one, but I'm leaning toward grey. I have a 2012 Raptor now which I like, but its huge size has limited where I can go off road several times in the last 3.5 years. I've never owned a Tacoma, but I've wanted one for many years.

I don't mean to get off track, but I'd like the TRD OR short bed without a moon roof. Can you get the premium JBL audio in a TRD OR without a moon roof? I'd like the premium audio, but I don't really want all that other stuff (BSM, dual climate control, cross traffic alert, ect...).

That said, I've never heard the premium JBL audio sysytem. Is it a worthwhile upgrade in current models?

Funny how a lot of guys lost their bowel control when it was leaked at 261...and are fine with 265. Like they are gonna really feel the difference...with 5 less of those torques. :D

Why? He also stated the the dealer name in a later post. Why does it need to a secret? The VIN is not revealed that I can see.

You may be on to something. The NSA may take this top secret sensitive info and fully analyze prior to knocking on doors. I'd delete. Time is of the essence.

If there is a lot of requests for a similar build/color in that region, I'm afraid he may be asked to pay MSRP + an early adopter fee.

    I hope not.
