    I'm liking how mine looks. But I have no doubts bigger tires would look even better.

    Mine are brand new though so I don't think I'll be going bigger anytime soon. Ha-ha

    Perhaps would be worth while for you two to see how much you could get 33s discounted by trading in your current set of new tires as part of the deal. Tire places seem to like having new(ish) stock tires to offer customers for cheap. Just throwing it out there, you probably already new this anyway. Occurred to me because I was offered practically brand new tires off a 2nd gen when I bought my Coopers from DT!

    Yeah but I got my Michelins specifically because they are a high mileage highway tire. I put 20 miles a day on my vehicle just to get to work. Bought in February and over 6k miles on it already.

    Gotcha. Do you plan on using your truck as a toy/weekend offroader in about 50k miles? Or would the tire size be more cosmetic..

    Tire size is a cosmetic thing in my mind. 95% of my driving is on the road to and from work, errands, etc. Off-road capability isn't going to be a routine thing for me. :) Though I wouldn't mind a trail or a hike or camping some time.

    I bought second hand coils with "25k miles" and thought they were 884X, turns out they're 884 model and manufacturing date is 10/07, almost 8 years old.

    Anybody know the difference between the older 884 and the newer 884X coils? Should I run these or try and order replacement coils? 8 years seems like an awfully long time and now I question the mileage I was told, 3k a year seems pretty unlikely.

    I recall someone explaining the difference in 884 vs 884x once. Forget it though. This thread shows the 884x and 885x have the same weight load but the 885's are taller.

    I think the 884x is the newer version but could be wrong.

    For long haul vs short crawl
    I'm a month into my 886 install with Dakars and at first it was a bit rough but the ride gets better and better. Just drove 8 hours and while it was stiff it was also responsive, corners so much better and recovers from potholes fast. My front end seems to be loosing some of the lift but so is the back. With 200 pounds up front it's not surprising but everything is looking level and driving nice!

    I'm looking to upgrade my leafs in the near future, maybe you OME experts can give me some advice/info. do the Dakars compare to the All Pro standards or to the Expos?

    I have stock pack with Icon 3 leaf AAL and I'm still sagging quite a lot, plus about 3/4 inch taco lean. also, from what I've heard having the trail limo makes it worse. I generally have about 200+lbs in the bed most of the time, plus my own 245lb ass in the driver seat. (that's about 91 an 111kgs for you OZ!)

    I'm about 90% road driving, and about 10% beating the snot out of it offroad.

    would Expo's be too stiff, will Dakars be enough....? decisions, decisions... I currently have the TRD BAJA suspension, but upgrading my shocks will also be part of the equation.

    Cant speak for all pro leaf packs but had a few friends over load them to start to sag a little.. only thing I can say is old man emu has two overload leaves which if did sag would not allow to sag past them..
