    Just got home from working on my cottage property. Saw a moose up close today that had "moose sickness" or moose brain worm.

    When are you planning on building?
    I stayed home today. Was going to go to a car show but it was raining so I decided to scrap that plan. Maybe I can go hiking tomorrow.

    Just learned about it today. It's a worm infection that moose get from white tailed deer. Gets into their brain and causes some weird symptoms. They get a tilted head and they walk in circles. This one we saw today kept swimming in circles and then walking in circles. I felt bad and would have likely ended her misery if I had the means to but we did some research and apparently it doesn't really affect them too much.

    Just clearing the area a bit now but hopefully planning to build a small cabin for my wife and I and a small cabin for my mom

    Got a bunch of video of the moose doing her best nascar impression if your interested

    Morning Dave, it definitely is. We kayaked around a bit yesterday and I kept stopping to just sit and enjoy the views. Can't wait to be able to spend a lot more time there
