Stang88...What brand would you use if you were looking for both the remote start AND a security system?

To bad I'm not in Kansas!!! Would I buy directly from autopage and then have it installed? Or should I be able to buy this brand from a place that installs this? Sorry for all the questions

deff have a shop do it.. make sure you get the lifetime warranty.. and make sure they solder all connections.. asking all those questions shows them you arent to be lied to and they will do a 150% better job then any best buy.

i have the python 991... but dei gave it to me pretty much as a demo model.. it can be had on ebay for $250 and its kick ass.. and so far i have gotten 1.5 mile range out of it.. im VERY happy with it.. you cant go wrong with an autopage unit either.. both of these brands i have used with very good success.

I found a C3-RS-665 Remote Car Starter w/ 3 Channel Alarm autopage on ebay for $80.0, brand new. Is this a good deal? I will look into the python 991 also. thank you:)

I have been looking at the new viper with the iPhone App from BestBuy, a little expensive but it would be cool to be able to start my car from any distance and have it be warm when I come out of work or down from the ski slope.

I would only purchase a remote start with 2 way paging capabilities. It sucks not knowing if your car started or not.

I found the Viper 5902 system for 400 with shipping? Does this sound like a good deal? Also, is this worth the 400 dollars (plus install)?

It is showing $499 on their website with install and then $29/year for the connection fee.

OEM roof rack, Shorty antenna (eBay), soft tonneau cover, K&N drop in air filter, bed mat, interior LED lights, 5100's, MT tires to come soon!!!
I have just a basic remote start and keyless entry on mine and I love it I think it code alarms. I tried to install one on my truck and it was a really big pain in the ass so I would say take it to a local electronics shop and have them do it for you. And a 2way pager thing to tell u if it's started would be nice but i don't think it's worth $100 or so more to get but that just my .02. Good luck

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
I've only ran Clifford in all my vehicles...I recommended them to anyone.
