No idea yet, but I'd assume they'd be fine with an aluminum front bumper

I just wanted to say you did a really good job on your truck! it looks sick! I have been looking at putting the same rims on my truck, but i noticed yours have like a dark grey center...? I almost ordered the all black ones but would rather have those. Do you remember what they were called exactly? the color, and or order #?
    thanks man

I really like the look of your truck! You've done a really good job on your build! I have looked at so many diff Tacos, and yours is one of my favs!
I have a 2.5" Icon Ext Travel Adj. suspension lift on the front of my truck. I personally don't like the look of trucks that are higher in the front! I have my shocks adjusted lower in the front right now so it's level with the back. But I want to get a lift in the rear, so then I can adjust my front shocks to their full height, and still be level or a little bit higher in the rear. I was just wondering, since you have already played around with this, what kind of lift I should get in the rear? And how high?
    Thank you
    Shane

Thanks man! I really appreciate it! These are the wheels that I have on mine! http://www.methodracewheels.com/collections/street-wheels/products/nv-black

It may look different because of the way the picture looks though in case these are the ones you were already wanting

Since you have icons already in the front I would just get icons in the back too, but you could also do an AAL in the back possibly too to lift it more

Thank you for getting back to me bro, I appreciate the help!! I LOVE off-roading, & Toyota's, but this is my first time building one myself. I have already waisted some money learning the hardway...lol
And ya, those are the exact wheels I was looking at buying. I really like the way yours look with the ST/MAXX's too!!
So, with the lift i have in the front, do you think to make it level or a little high in the back, that 1.5"-2" would be about right? And I was wondering if I could get away with just doing an AAL to get the height that I need?

No problem! And don't worry I've made mistakes too in buying stuff for my truck! And I would honestly just do an AAL in the back with Icon shocks, since i like to keep all 4 corners the same brand, it would depend on the AAL or shocks though, most AALs are around 1.5" from what I've seen, but i may be wrong

ok. I think 1.5" is enough, so I'm gonna try just an AAL first and see if that's enough. and btw, I think I'm gonna get the 16x8 wheels, too. I was already ordering the same wheels in 17's, but after seeing yours, I think they look a lot better!

Thanks man! So does your raptor! You picked a good color! And yeah it rides pretty good, those cooper st Maxx are pretty smooth on road and my OME 887's aren't too stiff

I drew a line right across the top of the 4x4, cut it off, then used the cut piece as a template to taper the remainder around the edges.

Yeah they do, I scraped the shit out of mine in Moab. They looked rough when I got back so I decided to chop them rather than remove them completely.

Yeah I'd definitely rather chop because I like my paint! Hahaha in the front I guess the sliders kinda help block rocks and flying dirt but oh well

Yeah I chopped my fronts first, but then removed them entirely when I put sliders on.
