I have decided on getting a new engine instead of replacing gaskets.

It's gonna have the new power plant out of a 2016.

Same thing happened to me about 15 years ago. A lady rear-ended my lifted 4runner ( going 10 mph at most) at a stop sign. She submarined me as well, and stripped off the spare tire along with the little hoist ( broke the chain). She didn't drive off, though. It did cosmetic damage to her, and none to me, other than the broken hoist. I told her that I was willing to pretend it didn't happen, and she agreed enthusiastically.

Located my oil leak. Located blown cv boots. Still tracking down low beam issue.

But I got her out, tossed the daughter in the car seat (air bag off) and took a short drive in the country. Haven't been able to for over 2 months. Kinda miss it.

I just replaced the o2 sensor and I think I found the exhaust leak I've been chasing forever. Whoever did it last time didn't install the gasket between the flange and the o2 sensor

Been throwing an 0420 at 190,000. I have no record of any of it being changed so I just ripped off the bandaid and ordered new front and rear cats as well as new sensors. Went ahead and ordered a new inline fuel filter at the same.

Replaced timing belt, thermostat, water pump, and both idler bearings. The top idler bearing wasn't bad, I just replaced it while I was in there. Hardest part was a/c compressor bracket, because of limited space and no ratcheting wrenches. Now I need to get a new alternator tensioner bolt because mine is completely seized.

Oil change, rotated the tires and greased the drive shafts. Doing this when the truck is covered in mud is a real bitch..lol

Oh, broke a wheel stud :-(
