That isn't mine haha. I would have bought one of those if the guy made them still...but he stopped like 5 years ago.

That is mighty sexy for that year! Now how do you make that bumper flow with the front end of a 97? Haha

Would changed the oil on my truck, but couldn't find any valvoline full syn maxlife oil. Walmart, nope, autozone nope, pep boys nope and finally napa nope(sales person adding we don't carry valvoline products). Gave up so I'm just going to finish this six pack and take a nap.

Yup, I'm just very OCD on this type of thing. Once I get something a thought in my head I just have to or do it. I'm probably going to lose sleep over it.

Does anyone know if the transfer cases for a 1st gen are interchangeable?
Looking at a 5spd manual with Tcase out of a 00 Tacoma, don't know if it's a J shift or push button 4x4, and I would like to keep the push button 4x4 that I have in my truck.

The j-shift is just as good and less prone to actuator failure (do to the lack of one). I wouldn't let the transfer case style hinder your search.

You're asking if a Jshift will swap in cleanly in place of your current push button tcase correct?

Are all the connections the same though?
I'm not biased towards either one, I just want less wiring and comparability.

I'm gathering parts now, I really want to get this setup though, trans and Tcase for $200
