New member from South Louisiana

Hello guys and gals,

I am completely new to this forum, I decided to join because I just purchased a 2014 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. I'll provide a picture below. I'm very excited about my Tacoma, and I believe I got a pretty good deal on it.

I plan on adding verious upgrades in the near future. I started by buying a set of weather tech floormats, which I consider a must after having them in my previous vehicle. Then, I purchased an auto dimming rear view mirror, also had one of those in my last vehicle (crazy that the TRDs don't come standard with that). My next few additions will be a Volant CAI w/the scoop, and a performance muffler. I got under the truck the other day and saw my exhaust pipes are stainless, which was a nice surprise, so I'll probably stick with the stock pipes. I entertained the idea of adding headers, but I saw somewhere that it would void my warranty, so probably won't be adding those. I also plan on getting the bed divider that fits on the rail system, and some type of roll up bed cover.

A little about me, I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I have lived in Gonzales, Louisiana my entire life. Gonzales is approximately 25 minutes southeast of Baton Rouge and an hour northwest of New Orleans. I graduated from LSU with a BS in Finance and from Southern University Law Center with a JD. I have been practicing law a little over 2 1/2 years now. I have been a diehard New Orleans Saints fan my entire life (even through some rough seasons). I have a lot of hobies, I play guitar, I've played baseball (and more recently softball) since I was 5, I fish a good bit, I make one or two duck hunts a year, and I "try" to play golf.

One of my best friends growing up has worked at the local Toyota dealership for over a decade. He has held various position, but he's currently the manager of quick lube and the wash rack. Fortunately, I will be able to lean on him for a lot of guidance and advice. However, I know forums like this one are riddled with great people with great knowledge and experience, so I'm looking forward to being part of your community,and I hope to be able to contribute some of my knowledge with you guys and gals. That's a really nice kayak you got there. Also that's a nice Red! I was thinking of getting a Hobie and then I ended up having to buy a new vehicle, so that will have to wait for a while.
