Like the snorkel body itself fits well, very well. But the rest of the product sucks, Basically a plastic elbow to the plastic snorkel body with a clamp. You would think they would have some sort of silicone or rubber fittings to ensure a air/water tight seal at junctions.

Its pretty nice, the ride quality compared to stock is awesome. So I purchased the kit in september of last year and installed probably the same month and the coils are already rusting and discoloration of the shock (black starting to look purple, polished parts are hazy and dirty looking) Also the insert holes on the collar (for adjustment) have elongated after the 2nd time adjusting them, never forced them and always moved with ease but the material is just too soft and after a while the holes will probably stretch too much and become useless.

hope that helps, For what its worth I would buy them again

I was but since I'm going to be traveling for work until the end of the year I figured I need to take care of it since no fender liners and open intake tube won't do the job in any sort of water crossings. Im excited to see the final look of the ARB

Changed the oil today for the 45k mark, I should probably start putting miles on the other car.

So heres a visual for whoever is looking at buying a Airflow snorkel. This is the entire group of fittings, notice the flexible duct that would be used for a dryer vent, poorly cut that is. This is the only part of the snorkel that I thought could be air tight... well the dryer hose is about 1/4" larger so even with cranking the clamp down it will still probably leak.

Im going to use silicone elbows like the ones used for intercoolers

Haha yeah it thought the connections were really shitty too. I siliconed the shit out of them. Also when installing one of the nuts/stud on the snorkel fell into the snorkel body  on top of it I deemed that very top stud impossible to reach haha so mine only has 3 bolts holding it :anonymous: it's better now that it's attached to the a piller.

Haha thanks man! Coming from a billy lift its a world of difference! :yay:

That top nut was a bitch, i unbolted the fender to pull it back to back. Still wanted to kill the stupid thing. Ill post what fittings I end up using if your trying to change yours, did you drill for your pillar? I just used heavy duty double sided foam tape thats used for small shelfs and such

Damkit that's more intelligent! Yeah I just drilled into it. I drove 1000 miles there and back to rock therapy without the a piller and I hated how it wobbled at 80 mph. Plus with trees around here it would rip it off. Wish I thought of tape tho. I'd love to hear your update on the fittings!

    Thanks

Its not actually connected right now, but I doubt any rain will do any harm. I will go to a pre filter so that would eliminate any possibility or heavy rain or snow doing any harm

@ChandlerDOOM awesome build thread man. I did the same with my rear camera mount. Only crapy thing is I can't fully flip up the license plate. Can you..? If so, can you share some pictures and info..?
