In the episode, I would have left it alone and left. If it's in my house, coming after me, wake up sitting on my nose or anything else like that, it's done for. If I'm walking through the woods and stumble across it, I go around and let it be. I don't go in their territory and start stomping but once they come into mine, well that's a different situation.

Dude. That one spider probably would have prevented a mosquito from biting a guy, giving him a horrid disease, which will now kill him, and we will never know that he would become the first Mexican to become president of the Disunited States of Communist America! And his offspring would have solved all cancer, crime, starvation, war, and invented a toaster that made perfect toast with the image of Jesus on it while providing endless supplies of unlimited radio active tipped assault combat knives with super capacity clip magazines!

Sheesh... One spider man. You never know.

Exactly. Darned if you do darned if you don't.

I just hope someone invents the radio active tipped assault combat knives with super capacity clip magazines! What would the world be without them? We would be overrun by spiders without them.

Agreed. I have no problem killing spiders in my own home, but I'm not going to go into theirs and start stomping, or in this case, knifing. Maybe if I was out hunting and one was coming at me, it would be different.

If you've ever been in a South American jungle you would know there is no shortage of spiders and everything else that crawls, flies, and bites.

I would an unbiased review of the new 4runner.
what do you like about it?
what do you not like about it?
preference on pleather seats vs cloth seats...
4runner traction control vs taco's atrac.
4runner engine vs boosted taco engine...
    fuel economy one vs other.

    thanks for the insight...

On the spider... What the video doesn't show is the village local saying they absolutely loathe those spiders (can't recall the name) and they kill any they see. Not that is/was our job to be functioning as pest control for the locals but given his demeanor toward the situation I suppose it just seemed on par at the time? Hope that makes sense? There may or may not be a scene in a future episode where we discuss a similar instance with village locals... we don't kill anything but they make a point of telling us they do to keep the kids out of trouble.

I like them, I like them a lot.

I'm a Toyota guy, it will be impossible for me to be unbiased. That said I've never personally owned a 4Runner (my family members have) and this has me seriously considering a 4Runner for the misses when she is due for an upgrade. The leather seats were very comfortable, stayed clean and odor free ;) after months of sweaty dudes lounging in them. The new traction control systems were a bit much for me, I'm a locked or not kind of guy but as I've adopted newer platforms (both my 100 and 200 Series Land Cruisers have A-Trac and trac control variants) I'm certainly warming up to it. The 4Runners got better mileage than the SC'd Taco though they were also much lighter, the Tacoma was rolling heavy. That answer your question?

Just watched Ep 5. Didn't expect the sharks.

Interesting coincidence occurs in this episode that's freakishly odd. LOL Small world we live in I suppose.

So far their entire adventure could be traveled in any ordinary passenger car though. :( Hoping to see some 4x4 usage soon.

The Cayes are a fantastic way to spend time, super laid back atmosphere and plenty to see and do if your into ocean activities. I don't know if you're a certified diver but Belize is world renowned for the Blue Hole. Will you have wheels there or taking public transit/shuttles?
