Hey guys. I have a 2013 DCLB Limited. Stock everything. Trying to figure out this shuttering, vibration i have going on with my truck. i bought it with about 19k miles on it and now im pushing 44k miles. Ever since i bought it ive noticed when im in stop and go traffic, tranny will slam into 2nd gear super hard when cruising at like 5 or 10mph. when i say hard i mean hard. i expect it to happen sometimes and it still scares me lol. It also has a shutter feeling throughout most speeds when shifting and shaking when downshifting. Especially at like 60mph theres sometimes a constant shake but isnt always consistent and will go away....Rotors are not warped and i have had aligned and wheels balanced numerous times. automatic v6. anyone have any experience with this issue. ive heard of people with similar issues but i just haven't found a fix. driveshaft, tranny, u joints??? will be trading in if cant fix. i appreciate any help here.

Have you had the transmission fluid level checked? It would be a good starting point.

You say this. And my biggest question is why did you buy it?

You should also be still under the Power Train Warranty. Have the dealer check this out... I would.

To answer your question on why I bought it...wasnt something I noticed until really driving it everyday. Tranny fluid checked and also toyota wouldnt acknowledge the issue when it was taken in and under warrenty. Im sure they would acknowledge it now though!

A 2013 with 44 thousand miles is still under the powertrain warranty.

    http://www.toyota.com/owners/resources/owners-manuals?&srchid=SEM_google|TOO_Resources_Warranties|_+toyota_+warranties#toyota_warranty

Powertrain Coverage 60 months/60,000 miles (engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel-drive system, rear-wheel drive, seatbelts and airbags).

Take it to a Toyota Dealer and get them to figure it out.
