4.10s ? I dunno haha about where my rpms are at that speed any other time.

As for the coolant what did they tell you ? When I did mine they didn't have the older coolant that originally came in our trucks but the new stuff was premixed I believe

Took the truck for a little primitive road driving down by the Columbia River. Well deserved afternoon river side after a weekend of spark plug, wirepack, coil, MAF sensor replacement, oil/filter change, air filter change and interior clean/detail...

Looking for suggestions on new front headlight assemblies, want them to be sharp and probably a black or grey. Looking for something that'll fit without having to cut down the grill.

Also, someday i'll replace my front and rear-bumpers so anyone with suggestions on blacked out bumpers feel free to send me a suggestion!

Note: Truck is running like new after easy maintenance thanks to TacomaWorld forum tutorials! Thanks everyone!

When I'm at 2k RPM, I'm going 60MPH. And one dealership sold me 2 gallons of the Pink pre-mixed coolant on Saturday, then I needed a little more on Sunday, so I just went to a different dealer this morning who told me that I should have used the red coolant that is not pre-mixed. I went ahead and put it in, since I needed to top it off. I assume I will be fine for having both types in there. Pink is just watered down red, no?

Also, my UG shows engine temps to be in the 200-208 range while cruising on the highway. That seems higher than normal, especially since I just installed a new water pump, thermostat, and flushed the coolant system. Granted it is 103° outside....should it not be running cooler? The needle on the dash doesn't move, so that makes me think it is okay. Still seems a little high though

Yes pink is just watered down red, dealer told me they didn't even carry the red anymore since people were forgetting to mix it. Temp seems about right if it's 103 out. Long as your needle inside isn't climbing to high you should be fine

I need to get a ultra gauge lol. And bellassaiw10 are you a automatic? Cause my truck is a manual with the 5vz and if I'm in 5th and go 60-65mph if I remember right I'm at ~2250-2500rpm with 4.10 gears

I need to figure out what gearing I have. If I'm at 80MPH I'm around 2500 RPM if I remember right. My truck doesn't like to go that fast. Haha.

Anyway, I got my transmission fluid topped off, rinsed out my radiator and now my temps are right around 198-202 during the same conditions as before. I guess I cleaned a lot of dirt out from the radiator. All is well with my truck.......for now. Thanks to everybody for the help!

Lol I have metric 31's on the stock rims. If I'm mistaken I'm not sure if the manual has a overdrive. If not I'd love to have one lol. If not go to 4.56's lol.

Girl gonna have bigger shoes lol

When you installed the thermostat, did you put the little valve in the 6 o'clock position? If not that can make it read about 10 degrees warmer.
