I have friends who are lawyers and doctors, and they sure as hell don't have as comfy of a schedule as that guy seems to believe.

 

They tried doing that? Wouldn't kids be finished with school by like age 15 then? Lol

No, same amount of school days in a year. Just shorter summers. So it was something like go to school for two months. Then get one week off. Then back to school for two months and so forth

 

Ah I must've been too young to pay attention when they tried to make that happen. Sounds interesting.

 

You just want the morning donut run to go year around. We know how this works.

they want kids to sleep in, but then wanna complain when kids are at band/football/whatever practice all night.
fyi: if school starts later, after school activities will be moved to the morning, and your child will still have to wake up early. because teachers/coaches have lives and don't want to be at the school until 8/9pm every day.

 

Those make some fun moments... especially when you get someone else to do it...

 

How long did you stay in prison??

 

I did summer school from about 7th grade and even up to college. The summers were always short for me.
