Truck turned 60K on the way back so I finally got to use my super duper tool to change the spark plugs :D

    They look alright to me.

The tool made quick work of the spark plug change. The only part that remains a bit of a pain is the coil wire on the frontmost driver side plug.
I'll have to get a pro tip from @lotsoftoys or @thefatkid one of these days.

Haha pro tip... do them everyday, you'll figure it out:D

I just use my pocket screw driver to unlock the connector as I push it off. Takes about 2 seconds.

The skid plate line cracked me up, and people get pissed off when we charge a little extra to do that... Fuck off in my book

I'll try that next time if I remember...
I did kind of the opposite. I used my thumb to unlock and put a flat blade screwdriver in the gap and twisted.

Great build and great photography of some amazing scenic places that I hope I can go see one day. I also found humorous, wife's comments. Mine seems to make similar ones about our truck. :) Subbing along now.

Thanks man! I use the "spray and pray" photography method. Take enough pictures and you're bound to get one or two decent ones :D
I'm fortunate to live in a state where the scenery is so great.
Re the wives: the best is when I get compliments at the gas station or a parking lot and she's with.. I just kind of look over and give her a smirk:devil:
I'll have to check out your build.

The best part is the extra dirt/mud that's collected on them and comes raining down on you when you remove them

    Backup lights quit working....

Finally started digging into that today.
The lights themselves were fine. Turns out my wiring along the swingout was corroded.

I'm betting it started when I submerged the corner of my truck on Escalator.
Trying to strip back the wires, they're just coming apart in chunks (wire and insulation) so I guess I'll have to rewire that section. Maybe try some liquid tape or something instead of just electrical tape.

While I was at it, I decided to get rid of those crappy conduit clamps I was mounting the lights with.
For some reason, I had it in my head that I needed someone to weld some light tabs on for me.
Decided instead to just drill and tap the swingout itself. Should work fine.
