    Hey guys, after a good year of parts hording I'm ready to lift this thing. Tomorrow I have access to a great workspace and a group of wrench turning friends so now I'm looking for some process advice to get this build moving forward. Most of the install will be straight forward, it's not our first rodeo but I'm aware nothing goes as smoothly as it should. My biggest hurdle is that I'm a terrible welder and would never trust my own work so I have to do this in a few phases. I'm simply weighing my options, yes none of them are great, but are they even options to consider?

    First things first, here's the build:

    Front:
    TC UCA's, Fox 2.5's, Superbumps, Extended brakelines

    Rear:
    AP Expos, Shackle Flip, Ubolt Flip, 12" Fox's, Bamf relocates, Superbumps, Extended brakelines


    Ideally everything would go together all at once, but I need a welder to step in for the bamf relocates. That said for 'option 1' can I get away with running the Expos on stock rear struts? Will the lift from the expos put the oem struts in the metal to metal zone just sitting there? If that's the case can I consider the even more terrible 'option 2' and roll without struts limping her around like a drunken bounce house...?

    Option #1

    Phase 1: Mod Day part 1 (drive with oem shocks until welder appointment)
    -Full Front install
    -Partial Rear install (Expos, Shackle Flip, Ubolt flip, Superbumps, Brakelines)

    Phase 2: Mod Day part 2 (prepwork day before welder appointment)
    -Remove oem rear struts, prep chassis for bamf mounts.

    Phase 3: (welder appointment)
    -Bamf Relocates
    -12" Fox's

    Option #2

    Phase 1: (drive without shocks until welder appointment)
    -Full Front install
    -Partial Rear install (Remove oem rear struts, prep chassis for bamf mounts, Expos, Shackle Flip, Ubolt flip, Superbumps, Brakelines)

    Phase 2: (welder appointment)
    -Bamf Relocates
    -12" Fox's

    Any other ideas, options, opinions, things I'm forgetting, bueller?

    That was the plan until I asked this in the MT thread. The point was raised that I'd be riding the oem's maxxed out metal on metal, that's if I was even able to bolt them back up given how short they are. Also, the expos are stupidly stiff so they said the rear wont be moving much until I have weight back there. Guess I'll be cutting those bedsides for the bumper sooner than I thought. :]

    Went out for a last minute camp trip with one of my local buds off Stampede Pass. Respecting the fireban we bundled up and watched a ton of shooting stars. Then the usual gorgeous morning to start the weekend off right.

    Those are nice, even though I just bought black ones I'm still undecided if I'll care for them when they arrive. Been looking at more photos of them today after I hit the buy button and I'm now second guessing my decision. How much would you sell them for? Brian/Cam I'd give you guys a good deal on my black ones if they don't sit well with me.

    I can't say much regarding the icon covers being that the suspension went on yesterday. I decided to leave them off until winter so I can enjoy looking at the new setup.
