First and foremost: THANKS TO EVRYONE ON HERE WHO HELPED OUT!! Could not have done it without you.

A hand made wiring schematic and think tank thread for this mod can be found here:

http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/57361-one-last-led-question.html(the last shematic is what i used).

Also: if you are attempting this mod, you may want to pic up a haynes manual. (Unless you have taken the interior apart before). The manual is nice because it gives you a step by step tear down for the interior...with pictures! It's easier than it looks!

This is not really a write up DIY, but more of an overview:

Anyway, Got the LEDs from here:
    http://www.oznium.com/

To be specific: 5mm Blue: http://www.oznium.com/prewired-leds

    Supplies:

Assorted electrical accessories: but splices, heat shrink, 18g red and 18 g black wire. Wire stripper, drill (3/16th bit)., super glue, electric tape, on/off switch, mini add a fuse (10 amp fuses).
    IMG_0704_1e5bc4a4bce6acf3d2e7d487cfe25e9d302d4ddd.jpg

Wired up the center console first. 1 LED in each cup holder, a little super glue, make sure the LED does not poke out too much.

    IMG_0707_6dca16da71034fdbcbc711b3f5fecbaf8f999bac.jpg

Much easier to wire the center console with it removed:
    IMG_0716_756a9b966446c19fd66a62d19fc1248ce9741034.jpg

Wired up 2 LEDs under the AC controls and 2 in the front door cup holders. The haynes manual will show you how to access these areas.

Waiting for the switch to come in. Here is a few pics with most of the fron interior ripped out.

    Here are some night pics:

Here is the drivers door LED, stock dash lights, and center console LEDs:

Here is the center console, and passenger side door:

Also picked up some LED map lights and a dome light from superbrightleds.com:

TY. I am getting ready to do the same thing in Orange but I plan to wire them to the dimmer.

I thought about this...but i like my dash lights on high, and would want to dim the extra LEDs...

if you wire them to the dimmer it would control the dash lights and leds all as one right?

Also could you use a fuse tap on the dimmer fuse or would you have to wire them up AFTER the dimmer?
