2-3 days ago I notice a weird thumping noise from inside the cab. It only happens at speeds less than 7 MPH and every time I hit this small hole in my drive way I can hear it. I can't really feel it, but it sounds like its coming from the front but it might be my rear axle when it starts to flex.

Roll the windows down and find out exactly what part of the truck it's coming from and then we'll be able to give you something to look for.

I still can't tell what it is, but when I shifted my truck into drive i heard the noise once again. But the transmission is shifting just as fine. This might help a little as well. After I left work I accidentally put my truck and left it in 2nd gear for a mile, was going 55 and after my truck shifting back up I finally put it back in drive.

could be axle wrap if you are hearing it in the rear, common for autos to do.

It might be. Shocks haven't been changed yet but going to put 5100 bilstein shocks with a toytec 3" lift
