I bought some wolverine steel toes last summer. I got the bottom of the line because all I had was my company voucher. They took a little bit to break in but now feel fine, I like wearing them for general work. With this year's voucher I spent a little extra and got some Ariat composite toed boots. They were so comfortable I don't even need to break them in. Unlike steel toed boots they aren't meant to cut off your toes, so when you're in need of another pair give them a try.

I am 6'-3" plus. The first truck I took for a test drive I found my head was on the ceiling of the cab and didn't have enough leg room.

After a bit of adjusting the seat I have plenty of headroom and legroom. Defiantly not as much as a full size pickup but more than enough room to be comfortable.

Pfffff.. If you drop enough weight to smash the toe cap into your foot and actually remove all of your toes from the foot in the process, that synthetic cap won't be doing you any favors either.

Removal of body parts is inevitable at a certain point.

I'm 6'1" and 210, and I had to add a spacer I made to raise the seat about 1/2" to adjust for my legs. Head room is fine and I could move the seat back more if I wanted, steering wheel is fine. I have the bench seat by the way, I think thats not an issue in the '16s though....

    Bruh. You questioning OSHA?

Both boots are just as protective, you can't really go wrong. Composite toes are lighter and more comfortable which is why the Ariats are my "nice" boots. I wear them around because I like to wear safety boots even away from work. Steel toes do have better puncture protection however, as in nails.

If you don't dig composite though, don't look in the back of your truck

Composite is fine. But steel is real.

OSHA can STFU and GTFO. Also you're 5'9", get off my lawn.

I'm 6'4" and 230. 3 1st gens and 2 2nd gens. All fit me well. Current 2nd gen has Katzkins plus electric roof installed which cut down the headroom. I'm long legs and short torso. No problems. I do have the seat all the way back. I agree that rear view mirror is poorly positioned for visibility.

I'd have to say the most comfortable seats were my '93 SR5, back when an SR5 was the top model. It had great (adjustable) side bolsters that I wish the 3rd gens would get.

I actually fit best in my '94 MR2 Turbo....lay down in that thing and it fits like a glove.

LOL. I used to know a guy like that. 6 foot 6 and drove a 1978 honda civic. His knees were around his neck too.

    Yep same for me.
Got to be one of the smallest opening in trucks that I ever had.
My mazda had more height from the seat to the top.

Hard to get in and out of if you ask me and a 6 hr drive you feel like a fish in one of those little cans being packed away...

Lots of ways to be tall and some have it in the legs and some of us in the torso.
Be a lot easier on me if I had longer legs and shorter torso.

I drove a Honda CRX before my *1st gen 5 lug Tacoma, so my 2nd gen seems huge.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Same here the stearing wheel is a little less than ideal, I have spent many many hours in mine and no issues with comfort or room except the lack of room on my knees with the steering wheel
