Kinda weird, as a kid, Diesel was always cheaper than gas, then in the 2000's Diesel was always much higher, especially when I lived in San Diego. In 2008 or so, I paid $5.19. Going to the desert for family dirt bike riding was expensive, but always fun.

IMO the visual lack of difference in the front end between body and bumper is what the truck is missing. Put an actual bumper and not a valiance and it will look fine.

That's great, at least if you're burning Diesel. Come winter, that will likely not be the same. I lived in Poway(just north of San Diego) and Diesel is about .70 cents cheaper. Never ever saw that while I lived there.

I think it looks fine. Could have been a lot worse; See Camry or any of the spindle grill Lexi

Funny thing about that pic. Is how many people hated the 4Runner grill when they made the change. Every review on it mentioned how ugly it is. On the 4runner forum people absolutely hated it. And now people are talking about how good it looks.

That's because the current 4Runner grill makes the last one look good ;)

I actually didn't really like it on the 4Runner, but it looks good tacked onto a taco in a rendering. I would also note that it looks a lot better blacked out in the center, which is not stock.

I decided the new taco just wasn't a big improvement over the 2nd Gen. Since I had a 2013 DC sport which is kinda too small for the family I picked up a 2005 tundra DC. I think it's the best of both worlds, a little bigger than the taco and with a V8, but not as huge as the 2nd and 3rd Gen tundras.

I miss the looks of these Tundras. New Tundras are butt-ugly IMO.

Kinda like the new Tacoma. They need a lift to look good.

The new Tacoma looks amazing, IMO. It similar to the current one, but more muscular and modern looking. It's exactly what I feel a redesign should be.

I'm sure the Tacoma will grow on everyone and I do agree you can put nice wheels on anything and it will look way better.

I agree that even a small lift makes the new Tundras look good. Most stock Tundras look goofy. I think the best-looking full-size trucks are the GM ones. New F-150's look pretty good too.

However new Tacoma looks dead-sexy in this pic. Can't figure out why it looks so good here and so fugly in other pics.
