Crossover Mounting Location

    Marv,

    I see you mounted the crossovers for the Front speakers close to the amps on the amp rack/sub box.

    Is this the best location for them? If so why?

    I have seen them mounted within the doors many times. This also alows for using about half as much speaker wire ($$$) because you only have to run 1 wire from the amp to the doors?

    Custom Built Enclosures/speaker adapters etc
    I prefer not to mount them in the doors due to possible issues created by moisture/constant shock from door closing (I've replaced many with loose components on the boards as well as corrosion) etc and although it might cost you 4-5 bucks extra in speaker wire that's a lot less than the cost of a new crossover!
