Looks great buddy. I've done some gloss shrouds with flat black housings and it looks great

OP see if this guy can take some dusk and/ night shots for us with the halos lit up. Would like to see how much the reflectors glow with the surrounding light. Being that they are gloss.

We actually got a vid of it on Instagram I'll see if I can get a copy and upload it. But it doesn't reflect that much it maybe gloss but it's not chrome anymore so reflection is not huge

Right right. I hear ya. I was just debating on whether or not to blackout my next set. My current set is chrome. I don't have a lot of reflection either but I imagine gloss will have more compared to the satin that most guys do. And now that I've seen a gloss set, I'm contemplating satin vs gloss;)

Edit: I don't have a lot of reflection from the HALOS. But I do have some reflection from the hid bulb shining back with the mh1 and the shroud I'm using. So I'm trying to eliminate that on my next set. The mh1's (if using a large shroud) have some open area and the light seems to spill backwards and to the sides when the projectors are on. Kinda wished I had a 'sealed' projector but oh well. Not a deal breaker. Just trying to get set on making my next set 'cleaner' looking. And the blackout method seem to be best for accomplishing that.. That or modifying the projector. Idk. Just some thoughts I've been having.

Already bought a second set of minis a while back. Just never got around to doing them yet.;) I'm happy with them. They just need a little tlc to be perfect for me. If my next set doesn't last, then I may be forced to move up to some fxrs.
