2016 Group Buy Search

you will most likely get one net cheaper by saving the airfare and buy one locally. i can get one at least as cheap as any group buy, unless you're buying so many you trip the dealers quota bonus and they pass that along too (probably not gonna happen)

 

Not sure what that magic number would be, but thats why I'm looking for as many interested parties as possible. I'm assuming you have dealership experience? What quantity would that take?

 

Yes, I have dealership experience - there's a lot of variables. I live in an area where there's a lot of dealerships and getting one at or close to cost is very easy if you know how (that would be the same price a good group buy would be). I wouldn't get one any cheaper going through a group buy, unless you were able to get A LOT of people, and you know that half of them will probably bail when it comes time to drop the cash. If you live in an area where there's not many dealerships, you're more likely to be interested in something like this as your local dealer knows they don't have to be as aggressive on pricing, and most likely won't be. My point really was you might be able to save someone a few hundred dollars, however spending that much on travel there offsets any savings. I do wish you the best of luck - just trying to be realistic about the expectations.
