    Other than esthetics, is there any reason why this would not mount on a long bed?

    It might be a foot short, but still appears it would be functional on a long bed.

    It could fit on it would just be short on the rail guards and most people on here that would bother

    How much higher is the head rack above the roof? The angle of the pictures make it appear quite a bit higher.

    Is it possible to take a pic while standing in the bed, to get a more level view?

    Sorry, what I actually meant was the oem track that the cleats attach to. You said they were covered up or not put back on. I'm asking if they were meant to be attached back over the new rail? I have seen some systems that install between the utility track and bedside.
