I know full specs haven't been revealed, but just curious what people are thinking overall. Maybe in a year I will do another poll to see what has changed.

I think the ugly can be minimized by how you spec it. Imagine if you will, a magnetic grey metallic DCLB TRD OR with matching topper.

haha I agree the I was definitely disappointed by the exterior. I think this poll will show most were too. That being said, I would still love to one. Styling isn't why you buy a Toyota. I mean look how ugly the FJCruiser is and I think they are badass. And hey, Rock Lobers, Leave 3rd Gen Tacoma Alone!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

New engine, new 6-spd auto trans, new rear diff???, increased mpg?, modern amenities such as push button start and easy lower and lift tailgate, long bed option for OR

    Dislikes:
Front chrome grill and black fender flares on OR, hideous new quicksand color, still just two tiny cupholders in a difficult to access location (Yeah, I'm a little particular), Toyota making us wait and wait and wait until they reveal the full specs

Don't think it's as hideous as most. Really disappointed in the price increase while still having drum brakes & manual seats w/o height adjustment. And that price increase puts it $1-2k away from a faster, much better equipped F-150. I guess if the MPG ends up in the 17-18 city 24-25 highway range for a TRD manual a lot can be overlooked. If it comes back around 16/21 the 3rd Gen will be a failure, IMHO and I'll got buy a 2.7L F-150. I'm sure Toyota will still sell all of them without issue.

I think the savings Toyota got by doing a comb-over instead of a total redesign should be passed on to customer. The price increase is ridiculous for a decade-old platform.

Guess I'll have to see that color in person to make a final decision. My 2008 desert sand mica was beautiful in some lighting and g'awful in other lighting. When they did the first reveal of the 3rd gen OR I thought, "did they borrow that color scheme from Buick".

Toyota said they didn't want to do a diesel because of the $3000 increase, soooo...no diesel and did the price increase anyway. Basically gave us a "fuck you"...

I am not impressed, typical Toyota minimal improvements, at a premium price.

I find it "ok" but it doesn't say to me "I just have to have it!" Actually nothing in the US market does...think I'll keep on fixing my old shit.

Depends on which model you get.
From that price sheet that leaked a majority stayed almost the same.

Manual transmission availability on O/R is a big plus. I can forgive them some other sins because of that.

The styling is not that bad, I wish the nose would not protrude as much (stupid pedestrian safety regulations).

    I would own a 2.7 Ecoboost F150 if I didn't have my 2015 Tacoma.
