Diagnosed a bad wheel bearing at 65k I don't even drive it hard.

 

Got my front windows tinted with suntek carbon 35%. Had the manufacturer tint removed. Seems a tad bit lighter than the stock rears but then again theres less light in the back.. It is darker from the inside though

 

Drove to work.

 

...and parked well.

 

Alright fellow Tacoma brainiacs. I have a question that needs some help answering. I am trying to buy another fog light switch for a set of after market flood lights, so that it has a clean look inside the cab. I went to the dealership and was told that the part number is the first one that is listed here, but when I look online, all the websites are telling me that the second part number below is for my 2012. What kills me is that I can't find the harness plug for the back of the switch either. There is a listing on eBay that I am thinking about getting, but its the first part number listed below. The parts guy at the dealership said that the second part number has a silver bezel. What in the world does that mean? lol

NOTE: Pay attention when buying. Center console and left of the steering wheel switch sizes are different.

Also, check out attached pigtail chart. It will help you find connector type you need and go from there.

 

Changed oil (42,000) Amsoil Signature Series, changed Cabin Filter (dirty as hell), checked torque settings in front and rear drive shafts which front shaft bolts were loose. Cant figure that one out. Greased drive shaft and put PI injector in full tank of gas. Next is a lil washing. Broke bolt off front skid plate so I drilled and tapped for a new bolt that I have to go get at Fastenal. Rotated tires too. A lot of work!!!

 

Where do those switches fit, Left of steering wheel or under a/c controls?

 

They have both kinds. Select whichever ones you want from the menu on the left.

 

they would fit left of the steering wheel. thanks for the link, but I am trying to keep it with the OEM look. So I might have just bite the bullet and pay the OEM prices.. LOL

 

Don't think its very OEM to have 2 fog light switches

You would of course want to double check but if I'm not mistaken the part number for the female switch connector is 90980-10789.

 

yeah, I think its that number. My question is I am wondering what the difference between the switches are? What is the silver bezel? Thats what the parts counter said, but there was no pictures.

 

A bezel is the plastic part around the switch that "frames" the switch. Depending on the color of the truck interior switches often are identical in electrical function except the color varies to match the different color interiors. On my 1971 Triumph TR6 all the bezels are black but on later TR6 models they switched to chrome.
