I work at the Pasco airport sometimes, but frankly I avoid tri-shitties like the plague. Most of my free time is spent in the Blue mountains camping, wheeling, hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors. Pendleton isn't too bad of a place to hang your hat, and Cayuse is a great place to work! Same to you, if you're in town PM me. Later, Logan

I love the Blue's, I don't have a ton of free time (new baby girl coming next week) but i spend a few weekends a year in the Tuccannon Wilderness Area. Going to give Elk hunting a try this fall there as well.

Tucannon is full of Elk, it's an interesting area that holds an amazing concentration of critters. I archery hunt around John Day mostly, there isn't many people there and I usually have 100 square miles of woods to myself.

No roads, steep ground, zero people. Paradise man.

Ok, this is on for tomorrow. There's already a bunch of pics in other threads, but I'll try and take some as well.

Ya, visibility is pretty low in Pendleton too. At least we are not on fire. I hope my herd of elk are ok, but my hunting plans are going to change...

Replace it with a new pump from Toyota. Don't get a cheap one, if you do save the stock one as a back up. Take a pencil eraser and clean the contacts for the fuel sender. The ethanol fuel corrodes the contacts, especially the last two on top (empty) as the float rarely gets a chance to clean them off.

So just for my clarity, you're suggesting replace the pump with OEM, but do not replace the sender, just clean it?

Is that just from a cost containment perspective? Or do senders get dirty and don't usually just die?

Installed a Uniden 510XL CB in the ashtray area on 1st gen Tacoma = took 4hours!

Had to trim off plastic from the center trim piece.
Drill holes, test fit, align again, mark with sharpie, cut, drill... Are we done yet?!

Finally had the vision to use the ashtray mount, hammer the "S" out of it to make it flat, rebend it, one zip tye...
    Sticks out 1/4"

Not knowing the full situation I would say be grateful for what your parents can give you. Being a Dad of 2 boys makes me want to go back in time and kick my ungrateful spoiled ass

Oh, I was expecting that kind of thing if they bought me one. I'm glad they got me one... saves me, at 31, trying to find one myself.

However, these are the same parents who bought me a watch last year for my birthday. I haven't worn a watch in 15 years... and they knew that lol.
