Thank you again Zack so much for the rack. Loving it. Just used it so far to mount my folding J-racks and 2 12' kayaks. It is so versatile and awesome looking.

Anyone has any cool solutions for mounting ladders and snowboards/skis?

I guess I can just attach a regular Thule ski carrier, I got one sitting around, but maybe someone has a better idea. I hate the way those things look and they drop gas mileage by at least a gallon, in addition to the effect the rack itself has. You start to feel it when you do 5-6 1,200 mile trips every winter.

happy to find that my new Road Shower fits snug across the back. The one double channel bar (flipped vertical) held the 5 gallon tank perfectly (55lbs) over a 10 day trip.

Sorry I missed them earlier. Looks like im going to go with the j mounts. My kayaks are 34.5" wide and the rack is 47" wide so i dont think ill be able to lay them flat like I orginally intended

Picked my rack up from Zack while I was in SLC for my dads surgery. Put it together and on in maybe an hour in the parking lot of the VA hospital. Pretty straightforward installation, I actually didn't even have the instructions but it's fairly easy to figure out without them. Now I'm waiting on a single row 40" bar to mount right above the fairing. Had a 50" radius bar but I don't think it would look right with the rack. Great product and awesome guy to deal with!

Anyone having issues with extremely loud whistling from light bars mounted on top of the racks? It's not the "fins" on the bar, I've taped them up to test it.. It's coming from somewhere else on the light bar/mount

Has anyone had any luck with a wind fairing that fits flush with the roofs seal it with foam to prevent wear on the paint? Just an idea

I would mock UK with cardboard similar to this firstb5fc7f1c1955e919f38b1916457d5c7a_db0a17ab2aa080a01ad4384c2a54da9c84f5bfd3.jpg

I wish I knew who to give credit to but I used 1/2" pipe insulation from lowes cut to fit under the fairing. Killed noise by half. Works fine for road trips. Cheap. image.jpg

Not the best photo but its all I have at the moment.

Also- I have an early version of the accessrac and no lightbar.

I have the fairing on the lowest setting and the bar tucks nice behind it and below the cross bars. No noise complaints at all that being said, You cant expect no additional noise, but I don't get any whistles or howls.

Note, While the Heretic bars are on the more expensive side of things, They fit perfect with these racks!

Interesting, I did not realize that the Heretic bar was a 4 piece. Mostly because their website sucks and its impossible to find anything on it. Still looks cool though.

My racks and the light bar should be here tomorrow!
