Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
Are you going to do the old cut holes in the floor trick so you can drop the cage down to weld the top of the tube up front?

I don't know, it looks like it will be a PITA any way I cut it. Only way to get the rear section out is to cut it off the hoop, same with the front section. I might be able to cut the legs from the floor plates and slide it around enough, then set it back and burn the legs in the truck.

Going to get the welder hot this evening. Apparently, I am going to the beach this weekend. @PantherTaco plans come out of nowhere in a relationship.

Fuck that. I still haven't got a new header bung bolt for the taco, still rocking the runner's O2 sensor ROR.

I tried to get the whole thing tacked together, but the front tubes needed to move a bit, it was getting dark and me tired, had to give up for today.

I made more progress in 30 min. this morning than I did in 2 hours yesterday, it sure is nice to have full energy to work on it. Finally getting everything together and it looks just about perfect. I had to trim the notches on the front crossbar and it fits great now. Trying to take my time and get everything right.

This is as far out as I can get it, barely enough to weld the hoop.
    image.jpg

If I left the cab section attached to the hoop, it would only go back the same amount and I wouldn't be able to fully weld the front crossbar, center bar and gussets. I think I can get good welds when I get the front section back in place, but it is tight.
