I seriously love off road light technology and hope to replace the broken and antique lamps on my light bar... then show what they get replaced with, to all my Toyota World and Baja Nomad amigos!

Before the HIDs broke, in Baja...

Only time my truck has been on dirt at night is when it parked to set up camp. I'd love to have some lights for a trail run at night. I set a goal for a trail a weekend this summer and I'd love to add a night run to that checklist. Thanks a bunch for the opportunity to win some amazing stuff.

I will make it short and sweet. My wife and I switch vehicles often. I would have these mounted as backup lights on my 09 Prerunner. While I have a backup camera in the cab, she still has the ability to run into sh!t. Granted she goes to work extremely early and comes home after dark, but still. The garbage can. The mailbox (twice). A concrete pillar that was protecting a fire hydrate. You get the idea.

Here is a picture of the 09 Taco with a new DBCustomz grill, 20" light bar and some 3" cubes.

Thank You for posting up! Our Squadron Sports in Wide Cornering pattern will greatly help your visibility backing up at night.
Hopefully this is the solution you need and saves the Taco from future battle damage. Sounds like it has been through enough already!

    Thank You,
    Bailey, Baja Designs

Hi and thank you Baja Designs for the promo!

I am from Texas and is new to the off-road scene. These would be awesome on my truck and I would definitely want the Texas' wilderness to see me coming with these lights in the horizon when the sun goes to sleep.

    Thanks
    Tuan

As my user name suggests, I enjoy monkeying around in the mountains whether that means hunting, camping, wheeling, or just plain messing around. Getting married and having the pleasure of having my first child in the last year has kept my truck modifications minimal. My rig is quite modestly modified compared to many members here on the forum. If I won the Baja Design lights I'd plan to use them on hood hinge brackets as ditch lights to help me find my way to hunting spots or as backup lights to help with the reduced visibility due to my topper. Thank you for the chance to win a quality product and good luck to all who enter the contest.

Here is a picture of a recent trip I made up Argentine Pass in Colorado.

So I've been watching for a while and now I want in. I just traded up to a 2015 TRD OR 4x4 and I basically have to start my build all over again. For anyone that knew my last truck, I had put a lot of time and effort into making it what I wanted, but it didn't suit my needs any longer and it was time to upgrade. Seeing as how I now have completely stock truck, I would love for this to be first official mod. I plan on using the truck for camping/exploring and seeing this beautiful country of ours. A set of your lights would go a long way to help me avoid the potential trouble I could get into during a cross country trip. I normally don't bother with giveaways because I never win, but fingers crossed for this one. I had a couple sets of lights on my last truck and they came in super handy where I live. There's a lot of mountain roads and two lane stretches that go miles before there are working street lights. Lets just say I'm feeling really under-lit at this point with my OEM equipment.
Heres the new truck. Plain and naked and fresh from the dealer lot (armor-all and everything). It's only a couple days old at this point, so no action shots other than getting tacos with the family.

    Hey Bailey,

Thought I'd toss my hat in the ring for this one and hope for the best!

So to be frank, I would LOVE to have the lights to use them as ditch lights. Unfortunately, like many other members, I'm pretty broke at the moment. I currently work for an Outdoor Recreation outfitter, so having plenty of light while running a scout trip would be immensely helpful. One can NEVER have too much lighting ready to go, especially when headed up to a trail-head I haven't seen in a long time. Not to mention when it comes time to run the actual trips, it looks pretty awesome when my customers see me pull up with that much lighting up front. Haha. As much as I love Tacos, one thing I've always been jealous of in Wranglers is the A-pillar light mounts they have, which is why I REALLY want to be able to have some pods to use as ditch lights, just to show them up.

    Thanks so much!

I need because it is almost hunting season! I need these because my truck is basically stock except the stereo system! These would be an awesome addition for the backwoods roads and camping/hunting areas I go into here in Arkansas.

They would be an awesome addition and thanks for putting this shindig on!

Why do I need some new lights?!?

Because I'd use them, and with the addition of a new front bumper from All-Pro(not on vehicle yet), I need some extra lighting.

I do a tremendous amount of back country exploring. This year alone I've done Death Valley, Mojave Road, Anza-Borrego, Joshua Tree and just finished up Sedona to the Grand Canyon. This upcoming "season" is going to be the Arizona Strip and Moab. The Tacoma isn't just street queen daily driver, but has slowly evolved into a dual purpose truck that has made remote exploring a pleasure. One big downside, as of right now, if without aftermarket lighting, night time driving is limited and painful with the stock headlights. As a result, most driving ends before sundown is possible. Being able to shred through the night to get to a better camp, or cover more miles would be helpful and a peace of mind.

I've had experience with the knock-off's and competitor products, and have never been blown away. Whether it be poor performance, condensation issues or product failure, previous lights have been disappointing. It'd be awesome to run the best out there, and something that's actually made in the USA. A rarity in today's world.

In addition, I've just started a blog to be able to share all of my adventures. So you'd also get publicity from trip reports that are posted on various forums, and the website as well. A few of my write-ups on ExpeditionPortal have well over 1500 views each, that's a pretty good amount of eyeballs on your product.

    Thank you for the opportunity!

Hi, I just bought a 2015 Double Cab long bed 4x4 last Feb. The build is slow going due to funds and a growing family but have big dreams for the Tacoma. The only mods so far is a tonneau cover, BD dome light with switch in the bed and already ran all the wiring for the lights plus switches. Just no lights yet.
I was sold on BD lights after my friend tried out a set on his truck and since then i've purchased a set of BD squadron XL for the Jeep. I kid you not, best damn lights!
Anyways ive attached a pic of the tacoma. Sorry, no action shots. Also a picture of my switches :)
